The Wichita Falls Police Department SWAT team utilizes three different types of bang poles. Each of them serve a purpose, but by far the BP-2-CI is the most versatile and easiest to use. We are an agency of around 200 officers and average around 60 operations a year. We utilize the BP-2-CI more often than any other bang pole due to its reliability and ease of function. Jeff at J&N Tactical has proven to be a reliable source for answers about equipment and provides outstanding customer service. 

Our Special Response Team has been in need of a bang pole for quite some time and finally purchased the BP-2. Within one week of receiving it we were deployed for drug warrant that had children in the house so typical deployment 'toss' of a distraction device was not safely possible. With the use of the BP-2 we were able to safely deploy a bang up outside the residence near the suspect's window without endangering anyone inside. The distraction worked perfectly, suspects were taken into custody and no one was hurt. This call-out alone made the pole worth every penny.

We have recently purchased a Vandal BR-6 had had an opportunity to put it into service on several callouts. The BR-6 worked great at clearing a commercial double pane window and dislodging a barricade from the door. On a separate barricaded subject, windows covered on the inside with ½” plywood were ported quickly demonstrating the effectiveness of the “Vandal”. We are currently awaiting the delivery of our new J&N Tactical NFDD pole.

I attended a NFDD training seminar and we used a J&N Tactical BP-2 bang pole. The quality and craftsmanship of this product is incredible. This product is designed by a SWAT cop for SWAT cops. This is the best bang pole that I have ever seen. After the seminar, I immediately purchased a BP-2 bang pole and some accessories for our team. Our team is safer and more professional today because of this product and I recommend the bang pole to anyone who uses NFDD or chemical munitions in their operations.

The BP-2 has been one of the best pieces of equipment we've added in the past several years. It's used constantly and works flawlessly.

We recently received our new Vandal BR-3 break and rake tool. We just implemented the tool into our SWAT training evolution porting pool-side rooms in an old hotel. The Vandal BR-3 broke right through it with no problem and worked awesome! 

Our Special Operations Team just recently purchased two J&N Tactical flash bang poles. These bang poles have provided us with several additional options on how we can deploy our flash bangs. Most importantly, using the bang pole will likely increase the effectiveness of the bang as well as increase the safety to anyone who comes into contact with the diversionary device.  I highly recommend that every team has at least one bang pole available to them. 

The BP-2 is the best bang pole our team has ever used. We have "used and abused" the BP-2 in extreme training scenarios and live missions without any damage or malfunctions what so ever. The quality and durability is second to none. The BP-2 has taken dynamic entries with rake and breaks to the next level in officer safety.

We used the bang pole on a hazardous drug warrant this past week. This was the first time we have used it in an actual operation. The pole performed well and was easy to use. The operator who was assigned to the break and rake, with the bang pole, said he was surprised by how well and how easily the window was taken out. The diversionary device was deployed in a bedroom and had an outstanding effect. Getting the diversionary device off of the ground not only diminishes the chance for fire, but also increases the effects of the device.

This operation called for the use of two diversionary devices. After the operation was over, the Lieutenant looked at the burn marks which had been left in the living room by the device that was hand tossed and suggested we look into purchasing additional bang poles because of the increased safety.

This product has performed excellently and the customer service has been exceptional.

Your product redefines the term "heavy duty"!

The flashbang pole is a critical tool for any SWAT team. Any tool that allows my officers to deploy a device in a safer manner is worth it’s weight in gold. The pole reduces the officer’s exposure during deployment, keeps them away from breaking glass and maintains control of the diversion device as it is deployed. This is a risk and liability reduction three fold!

We started looking at the DRACO system over a year ago.  I spoke to agencies that are running the system and did additional research to see if the system would meet our needs.  After much back and forth with the owner, Jeff Herr, we purchased both the gas delivery system and the hard breaching head.  Both are well thought out on the engineering side and will meet our needs for years to come.  Jeff is a pleasure to deal with and takes pride in his products.

I am an operator with a multi-agency fugitive task force in a major Metro Politian city. The Vandal has been an instrumental tool for us in apprehending violent and dangerous fugitives from justice. We have used the Vandal to remove fugitives from attics by tearing the ceiling down while there are being monitored with a pole cam. The Vandal has also been used to break and rake windows during failed breaches which allowed us to control dangerous fugitives from outside the room until we were able gain entry. It also aided in the recovery of evidence that was dropped behind walls with voids in them that you cannot access without tearing the wall out. We have used other tools to breach windows and walls but the Vandal has been superior in effectiveness and intimidation. I highly recommend this product and suggest any tactical team to test and evaluate it for themselves.
